About
I offer short-term, practical relapse prevention counselling. Some clients stay longer, and that is welcome.
I am an Associate Addiction Counsellor (AAC) endorsed through CACCF, and I work within a trauma-informed, culturally responsive framework. I am not a psychotherapist. As a counsellor, I use and teach the skills and tools a client needs from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based practices. If what someone needs falls outside what I offer, I will help them find it.
I have over 25 years of lived experience in recovery and peer support
